The elevator wire rope is changed for several years

The elevator rope is changed several times a year, because of the influence of the frequent use, the load condition and the maintenance in place, the elevator traction rope has no time limit for scrap.

However, there are scrap standards, GB7588.TSGT7001 regulations:

In the event of the following circumstances, the traction compensation steel rope shall be scrapped:

(1) cage distortion occurs; the rope core is extruded and twisted and partly flattened and bent;

(2) the broken wire dispersed in the whole wire rope, a twist wire breaking single stranded within root number is greater than 4; or broken wire rope on a site or a stock, a pitch in total more than 12 root broken wire (for 6 shares) or greater than 16 (8, shares)

(3) the diameter of the worn wire rope is less than 90% of the diameter of the rope.

Therefore, the adoption of reasonable wire rope product structure can appropriately prolong the service life of the lift
